Jerry’s practice is focused on Collection and Audit issues pertaining to Federal and state tax agencies with vigorous representation.  He specializes in Offer in Compromise, discharges and releases of the Notice of Federal Tax Lien, subordinations for individuals borrowing funds to partially pay tax liabilities, and securing release of levies on bank accounts and wages.  He prepares tax returns for individuals with domestic and foreign income, estates, partnerships, Sub-S Corporations and corporations.

Examples of recent cases:

Settled $350,000 tax liability for $39,000 via an Offer in Compromise with a Settlement Officer after discussing with Appeals Area Director’s staff.

Settled a $50,000 tax liability for an elderly couple in which the husband was terminally ill.  The couple had equity in their assets to pay the tax liabilities in full by using the effective tax administration provision.

Secured a release of a wage levy in the amount of $120,000 for an individual who had not filed a tax return in 10 years.  Prepared the returns and reduced the tax liabilities to $40,000. Currently working on an Offer in Compromise to settle the tax liabilities.

Prepared returns for an individual who had tax issues from 2000 to 2015 with Federal and various state tax authorities to determine the correct tax liabilities, so the client could resolve his tax issues.
